Welcome to The Gifted and Talented Website

Students are identified for the Gifted and Talented program
through standardized tests scores from the previous year: 
Test of Cognitive Skills, and /or ASK 3 through ASK 7. 
A score of 90% or better in 4 out of the 7 academic area is
required for eligibility into the program.  If the student has
obtained scores in only 3 areas of achievement, teachers
are asked to complete three of Renzulli's identification scales
on students they feel exhibit gifted behavior in their classroom. 
Renzulli's rating scale includes; learning characteristics,
expression, and creativity.
